i disagree with that, none of rocks movies measures up to the first fast or xxx movie
rock has been a waste of talent so far
vin turned his back on the franchises that made him and hes gone downhill ever since, its good to see him go back to fast, riddikk and xxx
I disagree.. I think The Rundown easily matches up or is better than the first Fast and Furious flick. Again, Vin Diesel is locked into doing franchises.. One of which was a box office failure. And while The Rock's movies arnt exactly oscar bait... He's at least doing stuff outside of the typical mainstream action/box office movies.
XXX to me... is entertaining, in the same way The Scorpion King is.. cheesy
action and one liners. The difference is.. Vin Diesel is a stage trained actor who's put in a ton of mediocre, laughable performances. He is basically an action star because he "looks' the part... Whereas The Rock comes from a football, wrestling background and has gotten more recognition for his acting than Vin. Hell... action stars like Schwartzenegger and Stallone come from non acting backgrouns and have maintained a level of charisma in the prime of their careers that Vin Diesel doesn't seem to have at the "height' of his career.
