i dont think they bred any super negroes, i think they were bred for numbers and some trying to create better slaves

These type of threads are so crazy. There may have been instances of slave breeding, but common sense says that it wasn't wide spread if it existed at all. Some people are looking at stuff like athletic ability or size as proof that this breeding existed. That is a really stupid notion when you consider that slavery also existed in the Northern States until it died out; but the Black people in the North are just as big and as athletic as Black people in the South. And then there are the Jamaicans who are just as big and as athletic. The Bahamians are just as big and as athletic. Same for the Cubans; Virgin Islanders; Haitians, Dominicans, Puerto Ricans, etc. They are all just as big and as athletic as African Americans.

What makes more sense is that Africans are from different ethnic groups. The slaves that came to the new World hardly ever met and mingled in Africa due to tribal differences and geography. In slavery these people of different ethnic groups did meet and marry and their offsprings carry mixed genes that had not existed before. Some of the ethnic groups had fierce warriors like the Mandinkas, Bambara, Dogon, Akan (Asante, Brong and Baoule), Fang, Hausa, Fulani, Bakongo, Tikar etc. It is the mixture of all of the genes of those very war like people that we see on our football fields, basketball courts, baseball diamonds, boxing rings and tracks and fields. To me it is that simple and that is why these athletes that descended from the slaves have shown time and time again that they are even better athletes than the Africans. The descendants of the slaves are a composite of about 15-20 different African ethnic groups. Moreover, the Africans are a really diverse people, so depending upon who mixes with whom; there will be different attributes, like sickle cell.

That is just my opinion.

LOL, you need to do a little more research. The number one reason why natives weren't as useful is because they were....NATIVES!!! They knew the land, they knew where to go, and where not to go. They could escape because they knew where to go. Also, nobody stuck out as much as africans with their unique features. That aided in slave masters keeping track of them.
