I never understood the big deal of graduating from high school. how is that a major accomplishment in this day and age? I was like cuz I expect damn near everyone to graduate from high school if ur gonna amount to anything in this world these days.

I ate for the whole summer off of checks and cards from various family members. Sending out those invitations and announcements helped a great deal. People used to tell me that I would get broke off once I graduated but I never believed it. But during that whole summer it seemed like every other day a card was in the mail or one of the family dropped a check by the house. I probably blew through 3000 dollars that whole summer without thinking about saving a thing.
