You gotta think they will eventually do it, but its long past time to put Sterling Sharpe in. He led the NFL in receiving td's twice, one of only 4 players since 1970 to win the receiving triple crown in a season. The stat that should have already put him in is he led the league in catches 3 times. Noone else since 1970 has done it more than twice. Its insane that someone who has led the league in a stat more than anybody else in that time span is not in the hall of fame.
It's a joke he isn't in yet considering Terrell Davis got in years ago.

I was watching this play about a week ago! :wow:

Peppers was a different level athlete man
DIFFERENT.
and he was actually a good player, he was playing clutch minutes in an ACC conference conference game. he wasn't the typical football player who comes in after the season as an extra body

Who gets the nod next year

The only first ballot guy on this list is Vinatieri. Manning, Keuchly, Suggs, Staley and Lynch are in the next tier, should get in eventually. Earl Thomas, Aqib Talib and Darren Sproles are super marginal, probably really shouldn't be in but can maybe squeak in on a weak year. Wake, Davis and Demaryius should never be in.
