If Special Teams wasn't an important facet of the game there wouldn't already be Kickers and Punters in the Hall already, nor would there be whole azz coaching positions filled with staff departments of coordinators and asisstants for all 32 Pro Teams and at the college level dedicated specifically for that area of the game
Now I hear you more with Mongo, but you don't make All-Pro Teams 5 different times without being one the best at your position for a extended period of time

This is a bad take. He had the entire NFL coaching community shook just off kickoffs and punts. Every time they tried him he made them pay. He is legit one of one.
There won't be another one either because by rules they basically took kick returns off the table.
