She was not breaking and entering. The evidence of this is that the shot wasn't even from point blank range. In fact, it is he who had to open two doors to to fire the shot that killed the person whom he was so intimidated and scared of that he opened two doors to get to instead of calling the police.

And then he didn't call the police for an hour with her bleeding on his lawn. In what world is this textbook? The world where we can shoot people because they are drunk??

Some people are more gung ho, in this case he just wanted to kill this girl. But this is the risk you take stepping on someone's property.

I understand the racial elements of the case. In fact I don't even think it matters if the neighborhood wasn't mostly white, it would have still been an uphill battle to get her justice. I'm talking purely from a legal standpoint, I don't see how its a textbook case against the McBride family.

IMO, they'll say she was drunk and causing a disturbance, and her behavior put him at risk, especially in the middle of the night
