It just seems like the mid to late 2000s have gone back to that era, difference being the technology.

To be fair...if someone knocked on my door or was lurking around my house at 1:30am, I'm on high alert and calling the cops. This is a very stressful situation.

Plus its dark...parents have shot and killed their own kids for trying to sneak into a window thinking its an intruder.

I think its disgusting to kill someone if you are not in imminent danger, the self defense and SYG laws need to address this loop hole. But, I really don't see how he was wrong for defending his house. The shooter should have let the cops handle it, but he's not obligated.

I had my 14 year old cousin who was stranded, I told her to go to a gas station and have them call me & tell me where you at, I would have never told her to knock on a stranger's door.

We still don't know the facts of this case, so its not cut and dry. But if things happened the way it did, I don't see any crime was committed.

I understand being on high alert at that time of night, and even having a weapon on you, locked, loaded, and drawn in that situation. Being scared, in and of itself, is not a legal justification for killing another human being. More information needs to come out before I can comment further without just making up a scenario in my head to fit what I think happened, but so far no information has been released that has Reneisha McBride commiting a crime against that homeowner.

She saw white people as her fellow man, which is very dangerous in every scenario you can imagine.

In 2013, we are setting our self up when we are mistaking racism with indifference.

Indifference and apathy dictate the world around us, and expecting mercy or compassion in this cold world led this woman into danger.

Like Zimmerman, this guy does everything to make him look suspicious and guilty but the jury still won't convict. We get convicted or charged if we are caught in a lie...the otherside is immune from this burden.

Crazy, in 2013, we still put the fear of God in white people. It pretty much confirmed what I suspected all along.

Unarmed black guy (Jonathan A. Ferrell) runs towards police officer, gets tased and shot 10 times.
