The killers ex wife has been talking and said that he isn't a racist but is 'a drunk' and 'a jerk'.Even if she is right that he isn't a racist , fact remains he killed a young woman on his property ,who wasn't even up to no good but simply wanted help. I can see how a 'drunken jerk' might well not react calmly to a late night knock on his door, and this man should be looking at murder charges and be facing a second degree murder charge at least. If I beat someone to death for knocking on my door late at night I wouldn't be out for decades, whatever their race. Being a 'drunken jerk' is no excuse. That poor girl didn't know there was a 'drunken possibly racist jerk' behind the door, and justice needs to be done if these are the facts.

Now I can undertstand why someone in the US might be nervous and a bit paranoid if any one knocks on their door late a night, I might have a firearm on my person while I question what the person wanted if I lived in america , but I wouldn't care what race the person was indeed I have several things in my own property to defend it despite being in the UK, that in my opinion is proportionate to the situation . And if they were geunine I would help the person and offer them a use of a phone.To be honest where I live ,it's pretty rough (for the UK anyway), and Iam suspicious of anyone regardless of race, criminal subhuman scum can come in all skin colours, just down the road from me a few days ago , a white man beat another man badly at a petrol station because he thought he looked at him funny while they were filling their cars up with petrol.
