I need details :manny:
Man listen here. Had to stay one night close to downtown so I stayed at this little hotel off Jefferson. Shorty at the desk bust open my door at 11:01 talking about “get out I’m charging you an extra night for staying past check out” :dahell: Then wouldn’t give me my deposit too it was all bad.

Then I went to eat at Parks BBQ in New Center, girl at the counter tried to accuse me of stealing food and not paying after I paid here already before they even cooked the food :mindblown:

Then in Greektown they wouldn’t let me in the casino with my little bag but I saw 10 other people walk in with bags bigger than mine.

On top of that just regular hood interactions that I’m too old for now :camby:

Besides seeing my granny there was absolutely nothing good about my trip to MI whatsoever

Ive never been to Detroit. I was in Grand Rapids for a week in December. The food there was mid at best. There was one good soul food spot I found. Other than that all of it was shaky

The only places I use to recommend in Detroit were Fishbone, The Whitney, and Coney Islands on Michigan Ave. I guarantee Dearborn has fire middle eastern spots, but never tried any out. I use to eat at Xochimilco in Mexican Village but hesitant to recommend it.

I'm going to be honest. I didn't see anything in Detroit I wanted to try out. Just doesn't seem like a foody city.

unfortunately the better tasting food is in the burbs, except for the some Jamaican spots(Jamaican in the burbs as well though)
