Showed my sister who hasn't played Pokemon since she played my copy of Blue as a kid the trailer and her first question was "Where's Ash?"

So if they get a sequel, they know who to include.

Greninja was the sole reason og fans even was remotely interested in the anime a couple years ago when we though Ash was finally bout to get his thanks to Greninja!!!
My nikka Ash FINALLY made it to the finals!!!

Not entirely sure how I feel about the CGI. I guess it would be difficult considering the style but I kinda hoped they'd make them look more like real animals instead of CGI toys. Other than that it looks surprisingly good.

You have to think this is the beginning of a franchise if it succeeds. I remember they were talking bout 6 power ranger movies before the first one even came out and then it bombed

As long as this makes bank we should be seeing a pokemon flick every 2 years or so.

You know what's really crazy? A teaser for Toy Story 4 also came out today and no one is talking about it.

Between Stan Lee's death and this movie, it just....happened. Crazy to think Detective Pikachu stole Pixar's thunder (no pun intended).
