Im so trash at pvp in this game
Cant even blame my taking a break cause I was trash when i played heavily.
best way to learn any pvp game is to focus on staying alive more than getting kills. that way the game starts to slow down for you and you can start examining best practices to escape situations, understand them, and recognize when someone else is in an equally bad one. you can't learn much just respawning at a high rate then running to the next asswhooping.Im so trash at pvp in this game

are u reading the map correctly? are engaging in fire fights u gonna lose? what weapon are u using? a bottom dollar or a igneous hammer is gonna beat a palindrome any day unless the the user sucks. Try pulse rifles like the no time to explain or the messenger, those weapons cause folks to flinch, so they are most likely to miss when shooting back
Practice practice practice, i suck but very rarely u gonna see me under 10 kills in a match even in a short mercy match
Pulse rifles and watching my map helped a ton Goodlooking out bro!
This shyt work in theory, in 3v3 modes. 12 player games are something different. There be times where i die and get spawned next to the giy who killed me, just to die again. Some of these players know the spawn points and camp them.best way to learn any pvp game is to focus on staying alive more than getting kills. that way the game starts to slow down for you and you can start examining best practices to escape situations, understand them, and recognize when someone else is in an equally bad one. you can't learn much just respawning at a high rate then running to the next asswhooping.
destiny is way, way faster than it used to be just a year ago and there's more tools in the game now to kill people *without* getting line of sight than ever. because of that, map awareness and radar's importance are more significant than ever.
knowing deaths you can do shyt about and can't do shyt about is a part of the process there was a time where you could be killed by the same super on spawn 3 times in a row. shyt happens. that's got nothing to do with learning the game outside of accepting what you can't control. eventually you'll get to the point where you understand you can do more damage to an opposing team by forcing them to spawn elsewhere instead of actively slaying out. This shyt work in theory, in 3v3 modes. 12 player games are something different. Other players travel in packs so that eliminates 1v1s. And I swear some ppl can see through walls....i actually hid in a corner one game to see how long I would last, not more than a minute.
120 hand cannons rival sniper rifles and felwinters shotguns are always around the corner. Pvp aint really worth it outside of the event modes and mayhem

i actually enjoy 6 v 6 modes and comp more than trials now because people won't huddle together in the back of a map hardscoping behind ramparts waiting for supers and rapidly changing their gear on the fly just to abuse mechanics.
and you can't 'hide' in destiny because the radar won't allow it. even if you're motionless, crouched, and not shooting you'll flicker on the radar periodically all the same. and with all the indirect weapons in the game, you will die for it and not even get a chance to call yourself anything other than food. you gotta consciously, continuously manage your space, sightlines, etc or you're just someone's free kill clip proc.
but i play pvp in D2 more than anything else
Vault of Glass loot better actually be Vault of Glass loot. I want to see fatebringer, vision of confluence, mythoclast etc
