This game should be 60fps 1080p. Most people ain't playing in 4k anyway but everyone benefits from 60fps..

It's no big deal to me. Either way I'm gonna enjoy the game..

i'm not giving them a pass, i just dont care about it...i dont care about a game being 4k nor 60 fps....i just want a good game that is fun....others can care about that shyt and choose not to play, that's cool...it's not a determining factor for me...

I'm hoping enough people complain and 6 v 6 have modes come back. Not sure why they're going so hard to get MLG status when the vast majority of people play this as a casual endeavour

well that's exactly why lol. it was impossible to take destiny pvp seriously from day 1

i don't know why we're acting like 6v6 was beautiful polish or something. every single 6v6 mode was full of bullshyt and never once felt really balanced in any aspect of the game

3v3 was closer, but it was just boring. 4v4 might be that sweet spot.... but i'd still miss the actual big maps in destiny

If they said PVE(like story and strikes/raids) where it's mad shyt going on was 30fps okay, but a 4v4 PVP mode is still 30fps?? and it ain't like the graphics look upgraded, they look identical to Destiny 1. I just think they didn't want to do all that.

Thankfully my rig is nice so this is getting copped on PC.

that shyt aint true....the game play they showed of the intro looked better than everything in destiny 1...

Maybe identical is a bad word choice but it didn't stand out to me though as something that was largely different though. The PVP videos though still didn't look remotely different graphically. Nothing there looked so much better in the PVP gameplay that justified it being 30fps in a 4v4 arena game. I would have to see a Destiny 1 vs 2 graphics comparison to see. Also the footage were all PS4 Pro so graphics would look better off the rip compared to the OG PS4 running Destiny 1.

I don't think it was a constraint issue as much as it was a streamlining issue

Also, from the lighting, reflections, particle effects, etc... that shyt was a huge improvement from the ps3 framework Destiny 1 was built on

I like the chaos of 6v6 so I'm hoping that changes.

I don't care about the fps, I still play destiny now and play other shooters at 60 fps. Don't notice the difference or really care enough. As long as the gameplay is on point.

I'm glad they made improvements to the world and got rid of the director.

For all of those who want matchmaking in raids haven't tried Aksis phase 2 on LFG. Picture that with people even worse than that.

Destiny 2 looks very similar to Destiny 1. Destiny 2 at a glance looks like an expansion pack a la Rise of Iron or TTK. It's visual identity is too similar. Very similar HUD, animations assets etc.
It's why COD games get the same "looks like the same shyt" from people because they largely maintain the same visual style.
It's clearly the fact that what they showed looked too much like the same shyt from 1. The setting looks too samey. Of course little details would look better but it's visual look is too similar.
I'm not saying this to say i'm skipping it or it's a deal breaker but I don't think the "Destiny 2 looks like a rehash" comments are far fetched from what they showed.
This is just for right now. This isn't a final say or w/e. Nothing serious. I'm sure once we get hands on and release it'll be less of a concern.
