When some friends told me this, I was like

I honestly didn't know Activision and Blizzard was a thing since they don't shout each other out in any games and in general, never made a game together. Big wtf moment for me.

dudes can't look for a group they damn sure ain't looking for a video to show them where to stand just to open the fukking gate to get in

Even final fantasy doesn't have match making for new raids because when you team up hardcore players with noobs it makes it unbalanced and frustrating. I just think there should be LFG in game, not matchmaking..

you sound salty as fukk that they put match making into raids... they are only going to match with nikkas in clans... about 50% of people even played raids that means only 12.5 million people even played raids out of the 25 million people

That 50% probably does consist of the same people that don't use mics and are most likely not willing to commit the time needed to complete, or even learn the mechanics of a raid. This "matchmaking" system is designed to help players find a consistent group to play with, not matchmake into Raids and nightfalls.

I can tell you did not watch the reveal or you just basing matchmaking on destiny one. There is no way you will be match with ransoms, you will only be match with people in clans.. Are you really saying people in clans will be doing shyt with no Mics? Every clan I play with we use mics

That matchmaking they described was an -option- available, there's no guarantees on how it will work or how it will be implemented.

Also, clans aren't some standard of quality either. you'll have guys who go to middle school together, a huge webforum groups, streamers, friends who just link up, etc. And lets not act like people run all their chat through the game either...

No you're missing the point I'm making this guided match making in destiny 2 is to pair you up with a clan so you'll find a consistent group of people to play with. It has nothing to do with putting matchmaking in the game, it's here so you can find a group of committed friends to play with so you don't have to go through the LFG process repeatedly.

This is gonna be good. If you do well with a clan they will most likely invite you.

Even with a basic LFG system that makes you have to agree to committ to said activity to a certain standard dictated by the person creating the group makes (like in current MMOs) would be great in game. But people really don't understand how hardcore we are compared to vast majority of people who actually play the game and they really don't want to be matchmade with that.

it's gonna be 4K/30fps on the Scorpio too. The Scorpio's CPU is still the same as the PS4 Pro's and is only slightly clocked higher (2.3ghz to PS4's 2.1ghz).
