bytching? I've spent 1 hour on 1 part for a raid that takes 45 minutes. For a raid that's been out for 6 months

that makes no sense: it's a sequel, so of course it's gonna look similar....people act like it was gonna be the start of a new franchise or something...no, it's called destiny 2...so guess what it's gonna look similar to? destiny 1....they showed a major location from the first game getting destroyed, but just cause it was the same location doesnt mean that the games look the same....i swear, this is some complaining just to complain type shyt....
Do people do this when GTA looks like GTA?
this shyt is new to me, i just dont understand it...people are really complaining that a sequel looks like it's predecessor, smh...it's so bad that i've seen/heard people complain about the fact that everything in the game isnt new....when i ask 'why they would expect that, it's a sequel not a new franchise', all i get is 'that's just what i wanted, and since we didnt get it, i'm disappointed', smh....

It looks TOO similar from what they showed e.g. the HUD, the animations, enemies, locations etc. Of course Destiny would look like Destiny but what they showed didn't look far off from an expansion because the visual identity is very similar.

GTA games look VASTLY different from each iteration because of the largely different setting. This isn't even a discussion to take here.

Same shyt with Super Mario Bros.
If Nintendo dropped the actual SMB2(japanese version) in America it'd get treated the same.

naw, i get what you saying, it just dont make no damn sense....they showed a major location from the 1st game getting destroyed by an enemy from the first game, so of course it's gonna look similar during that part....but they also showed new enemy types from that enemy, new locations, new abilities, new weapons, even a new look hud, etc., that you are ignoring just so you can complain that 'it's looks similar'...lol....

How is saying "The game looks similar to destiny 1 a lot" complaining? I'm not categorically saying it IS Destiny 1, just that at a glance it looks very similar and I gave reasons why but you're acting like it's ridiculous to even have this thought.

But it's not set in the same place, they literally talked about 4 new worlds right? It wasn't even the location in the first place that made me think it looks the same.
The differences are mostly cosmetic and at a glance again, it looked like Destiny 1 from the gameplay clips we saw. Not sure why y'all acting like this is unfathomable and someone can't have this impression. I know what's in Destiny 2, what's new and what's changed, that still doesn't change my perception of the game looking like Destiny 1 a lot and it still being 30fps even in a 4v4 PVP mode doesn't help.
I said the same thing for Gears of War 4, Splatoon 2, most COD games, New Super Mario Bros games, BF 3 and 4, Tales of Games etc.

also, the reason i say you complaining is cause 'the game looks similar to destiny 1 a lot' isnt what you originally said, to which i originally quoted you about...you originally quoted golden who was complaining the game wasnt 60 fps.....you agreed, said bungie was bullshytting doing that, and then added on to that with 'it looks identical to destiny 1'....that is complaining....then you doubled down and kept going on about how very similar it looks to destiny 1 in every way, which is further complaining...you know what? that's cool...you can complain all you want, i just dont agree and voiced that...
I feel like y'all not grasping the bigger point of folks who saying it looks the same:
The game looks very similar to D1 because it just does whether that's due to a bad reveal or w/e but that's just the matter of perception right now. It's not like the game is out and people are just willfully ignoring what's shown, what they showed look very much like additional content for D1. The whole time watching the reveal looked hardly different from Rise of Iron or TTK. It just doesn't look like something that's entirely free of last gen constraints and it still being 30fps only works against it in that regard. No new gameplay mechanics, animations, When I seen the reveal for say, GTA V it looked vastly better than GTA IV and that had a reused city. Halo 1 and 2 again another example where you saw big changes. Halo 3 and Reach you couldn't confuse the 2.
If you can honestly say Halo 1 and 2 looked the same then breh i'm sorry but you lying to yourself lol.

I clarified my points and went into why I think that. It's just you seem to want to hand wave away any observations that aren't aligning with yours as complaining and not making sense when I think it makes perfect sense. I've already said when the game comes out and shows more stuff that'll be the last thing people worry about but for now the game looked like D1 DLC. That's not even that bad but for some reason you're taking this observation negatively when I never even said that's a bad thing.
I'll leave it at that since y'all taking this as if I'm some sort of BF or COD FPS fanboy shytting on Destiny preemptively or something when I'm looking forward to it.
