:russ:@ You nikkas desperately trying to force this whole "look we can finally rag on ny" thing

Its not like the south is cranking out classics. This is the worst gen in hip hop. Hip hop under the south is like America under George bush:russ:

If anything new york is the captain that went down with his ship.
"Desperately"

"finally"

:dead:

Breh, your state has been finished for over a decade. Unless it's underground acts that ya'll don't even support...it's been over.

"Captain that went down with the ship"....more like boat done sank and it aint left the dock :mjlol:

That NY arrogance :wow:

YA MANS OUT HERE SOUNDING LIKE fukkING FUTURE "B" :damn:

So got damn delusional. When we were shytting on Guerilla Black, were the west coast brehs like

"uh uh uh uhyour jus maaaaaad, cause of our history to the culchaaaa" :sadcam:

@Pier7 nothing will be a lower point for NY rap history than "Chicken Noodle Soup". Real talk, there were actually bigging up that fukking garbage as some real NY hip-hop that needed to be supporte back when it came out. Even posters on SOHH were making excuses for that shyt with the c00n dance attached to it ("aww they just having fun""they kids, leave em alone" "this good for NY hip-hop"). It doesn't get any more embarassing than that. :snoop:

fukk DJ webstar by the way.

I actually thought that song was cool because it was for kids,New York hyping it up as anything other than that was desperateness to compete, which you cant blame on the song....Bobby Schmurda G9 boyz or w/e they was called?Desperatness to compete....Troy Ave:mjlol:? Desiigner getting a push in the future?you already know:sas1:

I reject the idea that "biting" was never allowed til now,if it wasn't then you wouldn't have Cube,Nas,Biggie,2pac,Outkast and the list goes on....As long as you built on what you took, made it your own,and put inspiration back into the game its been fine....Yall cant get mad at people not lashing out at people who they like that may have bitten or taken from, when we've been doin the same for the last 30 years, sumbody that you like can be called a biter too:comeon:

The only thing I don't like about the shyt today,is established artist feel its okay to steal styles from unestablished artist, which happens partly because of the internet, and artist maybe seeming established when they not....but frankly I think artist just don't give a damn if they hurting an upncomers career or not,or they see everybody else stealing it,so why be the one guy who's not stealing it?

But this Desiigner:childplease:?Cosigning pure wackness has never been okay, dude isn't building on anything Future has done, couldnt even come up with his own adlibs:snoop:....I see no spin on what Future has done other than he's from brooklyn, but even then, dude even talkin about having ho's in Atlanta out the gate for no reason:laff:...He is giving nothing back to the game,I reject it.

But many of yall would rather spin this thread around to "Bu bu but everbody else biting",just like with Bobby Schmurda, just say this nikka is wack as shyt so we can move on from this:camby:

The lowest point in NYC Rap History was when kats started hopping on the South vibe to sell records. Im from NY too.

I don't mind that, people even go at Fab but I think he mostly reps New York and does it well, outside of those obvious southern reaches he may put on a project. You would have to hate artist from the past who always had records aimed at Cali and the South on they shyt.

I just hate New York desperateness:scust:?The willingness to push anything that MIGHT blow, and Its like pulling teeth to get cats to say something is flat out wack who has a chance of blowing....Maybe threads like this mocking them, send them into automatic defense mode of this wack shyt, maybe its loyalty to they city,if so ,say dat den:sas1:

History tells me its just a desperateness to compete though,NY has more pressure on them then other regions as the big brother.....imagine being the brother in your 30's who was once the pride and joy, first forced to watch your younger, more beautiful brother in his 20's be bigger than you,buy your mama the house, get all the ho's,get love everyhere yall go:banderas:...Suddenly the brother in his 20's is paralyzed tragically,Brother in his 30's says "We back baby:banderas:"....Now here comes his brother in his teens, not quite as beautiful as the brother in his 20's:whoa:....But he still heavy in the game, still getting more love everywhere, still getting more money and especially ho's than the brother in his 30's:damn:

Its "big little brother syndrome",the first go around, big brother lashed out with hate and bitterness...Second time around he's dangerously close to suicide:mjcry:

And uh oh,what is this?the brother in his 20's is wiggling his big toe yall:wow:

That what happens when women were allowed to choose in a masculine artform like Hip Hop. Hip Hop is pure masculinity and raw opinions. When you water it down and cater to drunken thots in strip clubs, this is what happens.

Thots yeah, women no. But most dudes are not trying to holla at MC Lyte/Lauryn Hill types who appreciate and hip-hop music. This is what happens when you need music that a hoodrats, exoticals, and Beckies can rock with. :comeon: Be specific. Was a black woman from NY (Sylvia Robinson) who founded a label and introduced it to mainstream America.

The Lauryn Hill types were washed away when hoes like Lil Kim were allowed a voice and simps bowed down to her because of her hoe behavior and rapping like Biggie.

The 1st line is about Atlanta :skip:

I love NY hip hop but thecoli seems real out of touch with the new generation, the younger generation and their influences and how much ATL is running shyt right now and it doesn't look like anytime soon NY is gonna produce a star because ATL and the south is pumping out so much good music.

All relative. For every dope artist or song it's a million wack ones.
