There was no way that the Texans were even remotely going to take the chance of those cases going to trial and dudes are naive if they insist otherwise. Obviously some of those cases might not be legit, but do you think they’re going to take the chance to do so? Especially when they were out here helping him sign NDA’s.

Literally one word explains why organizations like the Texans would settle: Discovery.
The discovery phase of trials like this is where all the fukkery comes out. The Texans are quite content to let the Secret Service agent/NDA situation remain nothing more than an unconfirmed rumor. Them going to trial, even if they were to win, makes that an impossibility. Better to settle and have this off their plate before camp opens.
