I think we have gotten past the point of arguing whether or not Watson will be suspended. I, myself, provided the Ben case as an example of a player getting suspended due to sex related allegations without charge.
Obviously, Watson will be suspended. We are debating the severity of the suspension.
He's getting at least a year. Now whether he gets more than that, remains to be seen. The question is how quickly the NFL levies their punishment as there's no way he step onto the field as long as this situation hovers. That's why it's always been in his best interest to settle the cases, so the NFL can hurry with their punishment.
They didn't even want AB on the field last season and there's no difference between his situation and Watson's.
