The narratives from fans in here are so much like the outlandish ones used by commentators riling people up for a living but no one is getting paid for these bullshyt posts. i feel like the spence/crawford and joshua/wilder are gonna happen late this year, im excited for both and wish they could have happened already but i know boxing is a business. Hearn def held up the wilder fight way back in 2016 cause their main focus was building dazn not making the biggest and best fights and unifying. All the offers been multi fight deals for wilder to come to dazn. If you been watching boxing long enough you know pricing yourself out or refusing to co promote are the easiest ways to duck a fight.
joshua beat a 41 year old wlad coming off a loss.. who stands on that win and downplays wilder for boxing fury who beat wlad first, never was beaten before and is younger than wilder? Not impressed by either of their records honestly heavyweight always been weak af. Fury or wlad? povetikin tested dirty or him and breazeale would be their common oppenents. Not alot to compare but look wilder is knocking all these bums out cold, fury included. Joshua is getting dropped and stopped when he loses and just survives or sticks and moves on the much smaller guys when he wins.. Not too impressive when your physique and being from england are your biggest draws.
AJ beat Wlad who's an all time legend, he was in great shape coming into that fight and aggressive too. It's irrelevant in context if he was coming off a loss because Wlad wasn't throwing properly in that Fury fight, Fury seemed to get in his head, he was ready to do the rematch with him but Fury pulled out. He may have adapted and won, never got the chance because Fury pulled out. So it doesn't really mean anything, that version of Wlad still would have beat most other current fighters at the time. Wilder wouldn't fight Wlad at ANY point, even though they were around together at the same time, WIlder says he still don't want to fight Wlad even if he came back now.
What you're saying doesn't really make sense, Wilder lost to Fury in the first fight in the vast majority of people's minds, this was also a cherry picked Fury who was physically unfit and mentally unstable coming off a long lay off with no competitive fights coming back. That Fury was at around 50-60 percent and Wilder STILL lost rightfully.
I don't see how anybody could not be impressed with AJ's record considering the number of fights he's had, it's an incredible record for the number of fights he's had, it's way better than all the current heavyweights and even historically is great in that number of fights. He's beaten Whyte who's the current WBC number 1 that Wilder has refused to fight for big money on multiple occasions, Martin who was the champion, Wlad who's a historical all time great heavyweight, Parker a world champion and a good fighter, Povetkin a gold medalist and a champion and Ruiz who was a champion. That's highly impressive in 23 fights, not even mentioning the fact he's a gold medalist.
You say Wilder is knocking out these bums cold Fury included apart from the fact he didn't knock Fury out and should have lost bar a robbery by the judges. Wilder has faced terrible competition for the most part his whole career, AJ would have knocked every single last 1 of Wilder opponents out too, the only question mark is Fury who we don't know what would happen and want to see. Wilder is about to have his 44th fight and this is the first time he's fought an actual proven elite heavyweight, which is awful. He will deserve credit if he wins this time, and he will finally have 1 elite name on his record, but 1 out of 44 fights is very poor.
