Oladipo should've taken the offer considering his injury risk.

When Noel was on the sixers we said he needed to be traded because you don't pay your backup center max money. That was the general feel before he went to Dallas. Dallas offered him 70M. He rejected it the offer and then they blackballed him refusing him minutes and even Mavs fans claimed it was great because 'minutes should go to players who want to be here'. He never got an opportunity to bet on himself because of Carlisle.

Schroder thought he had the Lakers in the palm on his hand. Their cap situation wouldn't get them an upgrade over schroder and he can't out a great season in OKC. But then sheet trade deadline his play diminished, refused the vaccine, snitched on LeBron, contacted covid before the playoffs and stunk it up in round. And then no one could predict the Westbrook trade.

All this is to say there are a lot of factors that go into a player betting on themselves and even more if they actually succeed.

No one blackballed Nerlens.

He sucked and his trash play got him benched.

No clue why this idiot signed with Lebron in the first place :mjlol: of course he struggled. Westbrook is gonna struggle too.

he didn't struggle with lebron though; his low ceiling showed when lebron was out

Schroeder while LeBron and AD was out and then with just AD (20 Games)

17.2 PPG
3.4 RPG
8.0 APG
1.4 STL
3.8 TOV
Field Goal 45.4%
Three Pointers 40.0%
Free Throws 86.8%

.....those numbers aren't bad but it further proved that he wasn't even worth the 84 mil the Lakers first offered. The rest of the NBA saw this, which is why no one was looking to sign him when free agency hit last week.
