As someone who has already seen the movie I feel like I should mention again that I've seen it just because of the way it makes your soul burn slow.:russ:

I really liked it up until the aliens took off which I felt was anti-climatic but then loved the twist with the pieces falling into place revealing she was having visions flashing forwards not backwards

Maybe in my top 3 on a rewatch.

Actually seeing it Saturday now :blessed:

I'm worried this will flop as there were only 2 other tickets purchased for that showing atm.

I was really annoyed by Amy Adams muted/subdued demeanor through the entire film....I couldn't understand why she was giving such an understated performance and why all of her dialogue with her daughter felt so stilted and sad. But then the end happened :ohhh: and for the entire ride back home from the theater I replayed the first act in my head. Scenes I took for granted and sort of felt annoyed by now have a poignancy. Can't wait to go back and rewatch the film with the proper context.

This film combined with Sicario has also convinced me to go and watch the rest of Villeneuve's filmography. I've heard a lot about Enemy and Prisoners but never got around to see them but I like the way his films (or at least these last two) made me think.
