Neither is Demon's Souls, thats my point. And Sekiro is much more punishing.

Yeah, its not that hard. The thing that makes it hard is that it doesn’t give you a long hand holding tutorial to explain how to play it. If it told you the correct way to play it from the beginning most people wouldnt have such a hard time with it. Thats why everyone that loves the series says the same thing because once you figure how to play you realize how fun it is.

It’s hard trying to communicate that to new players though

Thats also because it doesn’t play like a typical action/rpg game so people have no clue what to expect from it.

Nioh 2. It's awesome and has a ps5 version.

Also Dark Souls 3 is great and runs at 60fps on ps5.

I watched a full play through of the game, it’s incredible. I personally don’t think I have the patience or time to play it myself.

I wish there was a “ninja dog” mode or something.

shyts really fun, you just gotta get over the conditioning of games teaching you that dying is bad. It’s a mechanic in these games and you start to feel like its not a big deal after a while.

Getting my PS5 and playing Demons’ Souls for the first time last winter was a very memorable gaming moment for me.

I got this and man I remember why when Dark Souls came out I thought it was watered down. Demon's Souls is a lot more unforgiving than the rest of the souls games. Equip and item burden. No respec. Hard caps on who you can randomly summon. World tendencies. Your healing items don't restock on death. You have to use your own healing items in co-op they don't give you anything.

I guess I'm too much of a vet of this franchise now though because this all seems so familiar too me. Honestly as great as these graphics are this game is lacking something that is missing from the rest of the Souls games though and I can't quite put my finger on what it is.
