So... just beat it. Def my GOTY without question.

I might run it back in a few weeks as a pure strength/tank build.
Just finished it a few minutes ago as well. It’s such a great game, Bluepoint knocked it out of the park.
Is it worth $70 or should I wait for a price drop ?

TBF I think it’s worth the price but as this would be your first souls game you might drop it due to it’s difficulty. I’d suggest getting your feet wet with other cheaper iterations like Dark Souls 3 or Bloodborne to see if it jells with you.

I need one black phantom kill to get pure white character tendency.

Anyone want to do a password invasion with me and let me get the one kill?

I will reciprocate if you also need kills for pure white.

I have bloodborne...I’ll probably try it out on the PS5 after I beat astro bot and miles morales...there’ll be a good-sized window between then and the cyberpunk release...I could play bloodborne then

Hard to say if it would be worth 70 for you. As a souls fan myself who never played it on ps3 this was worth the entire cost of a new console for me. I haven’t touched spider-man since i started playing it and I’m not even sure if still want to right now lol I might take a break from gaming until my semester is over and cyberpunk comes out

:dead: I’m still stuck in the place you go when the first boss kills you. I think I was almost to the end and got killed. :russ: I wasn’t even mad just switched to something else.

Unfortunately, Bloodborne hasn't received that 60 FPS stimulus yet. It loads faster tho. Also, since you scared of difficulty, Demon's Souls in some ways is easier than Bloodborne. I mean, between each of their souls/borne/Sekiro games, there's things about them that make them both easier and more difficult than each other.

Demon's Souls, the level design and other lil things like world tendency makes it harder than others on that merit, but it's bosses, while still difficult are easier overall than the newer games. Bloodborne's bosses are harder than Demon's Souls for sure, but it's levels are a lil easier and easier with shortcuts and being able to heal back damage by being aggressive (risk/reward tho). Sekiro is a lil more "arcadey" than all the other souls games, with not having immediate death from falls, having jumping portions n shyt, but it's the most twitchy, agressive play-style over the rest and is technically more an action/adventure game overall than action-rpg like the rest of the games are. I've been too far removed from the Dark Souls games to know what their lil niches were. Well, I suppose they have more checkpoints so levels aren't as long.

Dark souls is far easier for the simple fact that if you are having trouble you can always grind and level up so a boss will take 3 less hits or you can take 3 more hits. Dark souls is also a little easier than bloodborne because it’s slower, you have more time to plan your actions and you can hide behind a shield and tank hits or be a range fighter with magic.

Sekiro doesn’t have a ton of variety in how you approach bosses, there really only like a couple tools and strategies that work. People like how linear it is compared to dark souls though and prefer a straight up fast paced action game and the parry system but its far harder than any souls game.

Bloodborne is in the middle of dark souls and sekiro, it’s not as twitchy but there’s no blocking at all and you have to play aggressively to get your health back.

In my order from hardest to easiest it goes... sekiro>bloodborne>DS3>DS2>DS1>DeS

There’s a lot of exploits in dark souls that give the game an “Easy” mode or way to cheese, even just summoning phantoms to help.

There’s no help really in sekiro. No summons, no real grinding, no secret weapons...etc. I glitched two of teh bosses though

Demons Souls has the lightest bosses to me, which makes sense cause it's the first try at that style.

I do like how each boss has some unique aspect though. Like some unique mechanic to exploit.

Also the level design in Demons Souls actually forces you to clear areas more than some of the later games imo, with longer boss runs on death. The later games it can be too easy to sprint past everything.
