He was not a creator and faciitator like Jokic is.

Thats pretty much the end of this convo. We’ve never seen a center like Jokic. There have been a lot of great passing big men, but none who were the team’s primary facilitator and playmaker.

And Cousins was not the first passing big man. Just a delusional statement.

Yup. You'll never see a black player allowed to play like Jokic if we're gonna keep it a brick... but he could've been a diet version of Jokic if the league would've allowed it
Chris Webber was playing like Jokic. Of he didn’t have Vlade on his team, he coulda averaged 7-8 Assists per game

I feel ya on this... Let me be clear...... Maybe I should have explicitly stated a black center would not be allowed to play like Jokic. I thought it was implied

It’s very analogous because they are unicorns.

in fact to play your game, name the white big man that is allowed to play like Jokic.

Dirk, another euro white boy that set the stage for Jokic. So again, what black center(American) would be allowed to play like either of those guys. This is about having the opportunity to even showcase your game like that.

This post is why we can't have serious sports convos on here. Look at this post.

Just checked the stats, he had 9 triple doubles in 12 seasons, almost one per season.

For reference, some random tall guys both from his era, after and before:

Jokic 159
Larry Bird 59
Kevin Garnett 16
Giannis 50
Kareem 21
Pau Gasol 10
Wilt 78
Draymond 32
C-webb 21
To be fair, he had 3 of those when playing with AD that second season (before he went down with the Achilles). He was averaging over 5apg. Also, he’s not gonna be the primary playmaker when they had Rondo. He was in his 8th season and never had another one again after that injury. There’s no telling how many he would’ve ended up with had he not gotten hurt. I’m sure he would’ve passed up Gasol, KG, and probably Webber and Kareem as well.
