I mean that's cute and all but in real time he was more like a breh version of Kevin Love putting up big double-double numbers on 30-win teams, shooting 45% from the field as a big.

Then when everyone got hyped to see this big 2.5 superstar teamup with him, Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday in NOP... they were basically a .500 ass team when both bigs played, with NOP going on a big win streak and somewhat salvaging their season after he had his injury.

Has he ever explained why he turned down the $40m, the pelicans offered after he tore his Achilles?

Bird? Him and Jokic do the same shyt except Larry didn’t really have Jokic handles
He could pass about as good as him though. Always impressed seeing his passing highlights (look pretty much just as good as Magic too) but I hardly ever hear talk about that side of his game.

The prototype(s) to Jokic really were Bill Walton and Arvydas Sabonis, as far as being great passers/playmakers from the center position. I’ll also add Bill Russell who was able to make plays out of the post in the early days of the league.
Vlade was a great passer, young Vlade was a phenom...especially running the floor and moving the ball.
