Demar can fight it but it’s gonna cost around the same and he is going to have to go to court to testify AND there is a chance he could lose.

As long as it’s low six figures or even high 5 figures Demar’s should do it and hire himself some security to avoid this. It sucks but it’s not like he can’t afford to make this go away.

This is also why you don’t see other celebrities fighting people. If they could do it and not get sued more of them would.

Yeah but that has nothing to do with a lawsuit? Lawsuits dont care if somebody is lame. It cares if what he did was reasonable and he’s gonna have a hard time proving that, because a lawyer is going to ask him. Are you a celebrity? Do people take your picture only with your permission? Wasn’t the restaurant already trying to fix the issue before you reacted? Did he touch you?

Don’t get me wrong Demar can still win the case, but even if he does do it. It’s going to cost him either the same or more money plus time than him paying dude to disappear. Especially if dudes lawyer wisely sets up to accept something in the low 6 figures or high 5 figures.
