you can expect contribution from real 5 stars, alabama has routinely got it over the years. isn't caleb downs playing? maybe the 2023 corner class was weak and they felt they had to give a couple of them 5 stars and they both aren't getting any play: cormani and bama's dezz ricks.

Not the same. Rookies have their grown man bodies, 18-year-old freshmen don't. And the scheme and talent gap from high school to big college can be huge.
