Wild…..I get everything he’s saying but put dude on the field and see what he can do.

Johnny Manziel didn’t do none of this shyt either and we saw what he did on Saturdays. I’m sure that goes for a lot of other players as well.

Hell no, that's how you lose a team. Colorado don't got the bodies to compete with many squads on their schedule, the only way they gonna win is if they work harder and play with more heart. Start just letting shyt slide cause someone is a 5-star and the whole culture can start to backslide.

There’s zero reason that QBs can come in as true freshman and start right away but one of the highest rate DB prospects can barely get backup reps in blowouts, garbage time, special team reps.

It's completely individual to the player. There are plenty of elite recruits at all positions who aren't ready at first.

He too small to play in games but not to small to practice all summer/fall?

Are you trying to suggest that's odd?

There are wimpy-ass walkons who will never see the game field in their career, they're still taking snaps out there in practice. When I came in as a freshman I was NOT ready for the game at all, undersized and not with the schemes and just straight not there mentally. Coach would have been a fool to put me in. But I worked hard every practice and in the weight room, put on 20 pounds that season, and by maybe week 7 something clicked and I showed out in practice all week. That Saturday, I saw the field in my first ever college football game.

If Mcclain works hard, then he'll see the field too.

People in this thread wildin. They want to put a person on the field who don’t watch film or don’t know the schemes. Do that and you destroy the culture you’re trying to build. Every pro football player has agreed with Deion sanders philosophy with the squad.Them comment section filled with ex baller saying they like what prime doing. Yet, the coli saying give a freshman playing time who doesn’t do the minimums.

The amount of noise around this kid not playing is getting odd, this shyt happens every year. If he not ready he not ready

On one hand it’s odd, on the other it’s going to be amplified since it’s Colorado. These players are becoming household names.

Cormani just needs to use Travis as his blueprint.

Deion quoting one of the goats :dead:..

Wonder if Cormani dropped this on him..

Excerpt from the great book "Boys Will Be Boys" about Switzers Cowboys by Jeff Pearlman.

Who were the Dallas Cowboys becoming?

"I still remember Deion's first team meeting," says Clayton Holmes, the veteran cornerback. "We were so fundamental about film. The way we studied it was critical. Well, Deion comes in, puts his feet up on a table and doesn't even watch." When Dave Campo, the Cowboys new defensive coordinator, asked the $35 million man to break down a play, Sanders let out a sly laugh. "Hey, Coach," he said, pointing toward the screen, "I got that dude right there. Wherever he goes I go. All that Cover Two stuff you're talking about -- y'all work that out."

aTm had shyt culture and Johnny was a shambles of a person and crashed out in the end

If the kid can’t even show up to meetings regularly or on time you can’t play him if you’re trying to build a culture long term. That’s not even asking for much just the bare minimum.

These idiots don't get it. They never picked up a fukking football in their life and know better than someone who has played and coached.
