Styles make fights. Goku would fight Superman straight up without exploiting weaknesses and prolong the battle for the thrill of fighting.


Had Superman fought someone like Majin Buu, Dabura or even Mystic Gohan, he'd probably take an L because their powersets are more custom made to beat Superman. Just like Goku would lose horribly to someone like Brainiac or Darkseid or constantly outwitted by Luthor but he'd probably beat Doomsday. Styles make fights.

Comic characters have much more source material than almost any other fictional character around, while Goku's anime and manga that have been static for decades, Superman is getting constant new stories every single month and considering he existed LONG before Goku was even a thought, it makes sense that he is going to have much more feats, and probably more impressive feats, than almost anyone.

You can't complain that comic characters are "fukking broken" and too powerful but still weaker than Goku, that's a contradiction. Let's keep it real, Goku is one of the most powerful characters in fiction, but he is still under Superman who is ALSO one of the most powerful characters in fiction.

beerus is almost definitely gonna get surpassed by goku in super as indicated by the last movie especially considering the fact that goku is being trained by a nikka stronger than beerus himself and already reached a higher level than the one he was on the first time they fought.. so yeah

Look, I'll definitely say Death Battle ain't always 100% but when they came to the feats and character nature of Goku and Superman they were both on the money. Its not like they didn't look the shyt up, they spoke to the coordinators of DBZ and Superman sites for the perspective on what the characters are about. I don't see why saying Superman would win in a close battle is contriversial
