Superman is going to end up winning again.Deathbattle is garbage.

The first deathbattle was complete bullshyt with the stats they used. They made a composite Superman and put him against Goku. Those nikkas used All Star Superman's strength (when he was juiced up from the sun and isn't even canon) as the basis for Superman's power

Actually that same strength feat was duplicated by the NuDC Superman, so its consistant now at least. And it wasn't after a sun dip.

Use the most linear Superman as possible, i.e the one that would get destroyed by Super Saiyan Goku

IF they used Pre-Crisis Superman the entire DBZ universe including SSG Goku and Bills would get eradicated by a sneeze. You do know this, right?

Look at Goku's stats and times them by 6

Goku is now faster than Superman at 15 billion km/hr

But still significantly weaker (960,000 tons) and less durable (208.8 Sextillion MT).

Superman should still win based on paper stats and character basis.


Don't get me wrong Goku as a character, his story resonates more with people because he was a low class sayjin that worked hard to become the best the race had to offer and that's a story anyone can relate to, whereas Superman's is one who was born from greatness and had to find himself to reach his true power that was insdie himself all along. Its a clash of Nature vs. Nuture. SSG still doesn't change the basis of what Goku's character is or lessen what Superman's character is.

What about the original did you think was biased or inaccurate? As a huge fan of both characters, they had one of the best analysis's I've ever seen.

I thought so too. DB debated within each characters lore, which made perfect since and is how the debate should be done. People (like those in this very thread) have a problem with it because they'd rather do some fantasy fan-fiction popularity contest to decide who they think would win. However, going by the lore of each character, Superman wins every time without an exploit.

And all the people talking that Post Crisis mumbo jumbo, Death Battle did use the Post Crisis Superman for the battle, and Superman still won.
