Superman would win, but their videos are worthless since they always use composites from different universes/non-canon appearances.

The first deathbattle was complete bullshyt with the stats they used. They made a composite Superman and put him against Goku. Those nikkas used All Star Superman's strength (when he was juiced up from the sun and isn't even canon) as the basis for Superman's power
Yup. Pretty much the problem I had with the first one. Whoever wins is whatever, but they wanted to marginalize/shoot down the power level talk for DBZ that made the foundation for gauging how powerful they were b/c of inconsistencies (and I can understand that train of thought) but you can't do that then ignore that comic book portrayals are the very definition of inconsistency, but still hand pick/give the benefit of the doubt there.
i.e. iirc they mentioned Superman's strong psychic defense abilities but yet he's also been mind controlled by Poison Ivy, cheetah, the joker, etc, whenever the plot feels like it. Or they gave him the 'Kryptonian Kung Fu' lol with all these pressure point applying abilities... but the comic book Superman of the past 6 years doesn't know or do that... and the Superman we've seen in most major comic events and big fights in the past 10+ years hasn't shown that type of fighting expertise.
With so many different versions of each character and areas of debate for how to properly gauge either one, it's just gonna be more fukkery but my first impression is they're going to have Superman win again, regardless.

They didn't hand pick anything. The chose the best most consistent feats of Superman (something comicbook debaters always do) and did the same with Goku. They ignore Dbz's filled and pis nonsense, the same as they did with Superman. Superman's consistent and measurable feats > Goku's
In all honesty they through Goku a bone. They over calculated his gravity training feats and damn near made up his speed feats.... Ppl have been arguing about Goku's speed feats for literally decades.

Hell, even the MK characters beating Street Fighter other than Akuma(but then I don't know how strong the MK universe is) and I still don't think Mai could be Chun-Li and I especially don't think Yoshi is stronger than a Killer Instinct character. Death Battle is just to inconsistent, these are the same people who thought Vegeta vs Shadow made sense.
I'm sure Superman will win again, he just too overpowered even for Goku. Not to mention DeathBattle seems to have something against animes.
