Rj plus a kouple draft picks and. Fournier is fair.. They kan flip him for a pick or 2, throw in miles as well, if you need to.

Agreex wit @ISO his offense and big game intangibles, outweigh RJ in nearly every category but defense ( even if he aint elite, he better then spider)

But rj plus toppin and IQ and picks.... naah

The Melo trade is the most overrated event in the history of the Knicks franchise in terms of it having some type of negative effect on the team
They went to the playoffs the season he got there
They went to the playoffs the next season after he got there
They went to the playoffs and had the best record they have had since 1997 (which they haven't matched or surpassed to this day) two fukking years after that trade happened

The Melo trade was completely fine. All the terrible moves they made afterwards are what fukked the team over

Berman stirred the pot this morning. He dropped an article about the reasons Randle will have a bounceback and mentions Thibs and Payne sending mixed messages to Randle. I ain't linking it, it feels like fluff and troublemaking. But that's got Knicks twitter talking today...also sucks that Chet Holmgren went down for the season. That's unrelated but yall are hoop fans, so I throw it in.

I thought Payne was gone?

It's based on Randle's struggles last year, while Payne was still around. It essentially says Thibs wanted Randle to buy into team concepts but Payne was in the background telling Randle "he's still the man."

I think it's wack to throw an assistant under the bus after he's left and to imply that improvements will come from that voice being gone. They also mention Randle losing his two best friends in Elfrid and Bullock, then says Kemba's gone now and Fournier might be soon as well. So again, it's trashing one guy that's gone and one that might still be here, in the name of excusing Randle's season.

Whole article irks me tbh.

Yeah, it does feel that way.

Chet going down for the season means SGA watch is officially started.
I wonder what happens to the Ainge demands if SGA hits the market and OKC openly courts a Knicks offer.

I might be in the minority on this but I'd rather have Shai then Spida on the team

:ohhh:Big dikk Shai? Good idea. Never thought of it, brehs.

:francis: Real talk. I don’t think they should trade for Donovan Mitchell. fukk that pasty cac fakkit Danny Ainge and his asking price for that undersized, chucking, midget fakkit.
