Orlando was willing to trade Mo this trade deadline for only a pick. Orlando isn’t signing any free agents (They never want to spend money) Also Kemba contract is an expiring one so they shed future cap space (which Orlando wants to do).

The Mavs traded for Spencer Dimwiddie to offset the chance Brunson does leave.
I could see the Knicks going after mamba straight with their exception and maybe he accepts to come home. That’s about $11 Million and the equivalent of the extension. I don’t know he can probably get more money on the open market. I can’t see the Knicks paying a pick for him or Orlando taking one of the vets for him.

Brunson isn’t happening unless he gets abused in the playoffs. Dimwiddie happened because Cuban realized KP is always hurt and hasn’t progressed his game ever. KP was a bad trade for them and they finally moved on.

If the vet can save them long term financially Orlando will do it. Brunson is the tough one but the Knicks will go all out for him. He’s their main realistic target (no offense to the Donovan Mitchell to Knicks camp).

Your smart bringing up the cap but Dallas is way way worse. Just can’t see Dallas paying Luka, Just extended Finney, took on Dimwiddie, have to pay THJ 19 million and bertrans 75 million dollar contract.

Dallas backcourt is insanely insanely expensive

Yeah but why would Dallas take on salary to make that trade? We would have to send them $16-$20 Mil back. Even if expiring that would push the mavs into the luxury tax

it dont matter if we draft a pg. thibs aint playing that mother fukker anyway
If we draft somebody who is instantly good enough to be a starter he will. Thibs may be stubborn but he knows Burks ain't the ideal situation as pg... He just believes he's the best option on both ends of the court at the 1 which he may be. We draft Ivey and he's getting minutes

there aint no pg in the draft going that high where he's overwhelmingly obvious the playmaker of the future that thibs will be forced to play. so no, I doubt it.

1. Tom Thibodeau needs to be fired.

2. The Knicks should lose every game until the season ends.

So they should fire him after the season so we keep losing, and get a higher pick.

Mike Woodson was on the coaching staff during some of our best seasons recently. That playoff team with Melo and last season.

Who should replace Tibs though? If only we could trade him and Randle to another team. :troll:

I have a feeling we get Rose back at some point, then go on a winning streak to put us out of range for a top pick like they always do. :mjcry: 1 pick a way from a franchise changing player.:unimpressed:
