50/50 he ain’t here next year, and even if he is, I think he plays who they get because they are going to draft with that him in mind. They went with stats and reputation in Fournier and fukked this team over before the season began. Kemba was a Hail Mary that didn’t work either.
So how good is TyTy Washington? I’m pretty confident Ivey will be gone so I’m being realistic here.

I got to ask how? They are over the cap and Noel, Burks, Rose, and Fournier are all at their lowest value and Mitch looks like he is going to get paid this offseason.
How do they get the cap space for Bamba let alone Brunson?
Well I’m pretty confident Mitch is going to Detroit or Charlotte because the Knicks refuse to pay him so that’s true.
Mo bamba is not going to be retained by Orlando after they went all in on Wendell Carter. The Knicks will kick the tire on Myles Turner but that price will be too high so the money the Knicks will offer for Mitch will be used on Bamba (sign & trade). The Knicks will have to trade 9 million dollars in cap space to Orlando (Kemba expiring + one or two of our 8 second round picks) for this to happen.
Same thing with Jalen Brunson. The Knicks and Brunson agree on a 4/80 million dollar deal and the Knicks will have to send 20 million dollars in Cap space (Nerlens and Burks match this).

The Knicks don’t have cap space. They are actually locked into being a over the cap team for the foreseeable future even if they let Mitch walk.
Why would Orlando S&T Mo when they have cap space to either keep him or chase someone else? Also I think the Mavs are planning to keep Brunson. Maybe the Knicks could use an exception for Mamba if Orlando is going to let him walk.
Orlando was willing to trade Mo this trade deadline for only a pick. Orlando isn’t signing any free agents (They never want to spend money) Also Kemba contract is an expiring one so they shed future cap space (which Orlando wants to do).
The Mavs traded for Spencer Dimwiddie to offset the chance Brunson does leave.
