Low key I always wondered what it would be like around here when he did pass, especially as I would hear stories of him not doing too well and the dementia really taking over. It's gonna be a big deal, but knowing how Coach Smith tried to stay away from too much publicity, I'm sure his family will keep matters low key. They might need to hold the services in the Dean Dome or Carmichael Auditorium just off the strength of all the former players coming back...

He really is... Roy is almost exactly like the Michael Corleone; it took him awhile before he "came home" to run the family business, the only one who could keep things going. Guthridge was a capable capo but his time as boss was limited, and Matt Doherty may as well have been Fredo the way he almost ran everything into the ground.
