That 2000 team was one of my favorites for the way they overachieved. Those interlocking "NC" jerseys had to 
tho...The homie Julius Peppers was getting minutes and catching bodies... 
I saw Coach Gut when they broadcast Coach Smith's memorial; he was in a wheelchair and didn't look the best. But I didn't think the end would be so near.
