6 months out the year, but you eating 2-3 times a day and dirtying up laundry just as much.

There are way less black american men then women, especially in my generation, and the majority of the ones that are left dont want to get married or even have monogamous relationships.
im extremly old and dont date men with children or that are younger than me, i missed the boat

to being the bearer of all the stress financially
stress about the kids
stress about keeping the wife happy

men normally die earlier due to that stress

i see no value to it

This is a beautiful wish....much like moving and retiring by the beach or some other similar sweet long term goal.

If you are that old and you have a true desire or maternal instinct you can always adopt...or work/volunteer with children or animals.

I think of it like this...it would be great to settle by the beach but if I end up in a high rise penthouse instead ...great! It would be nice (maybe?) to find a man I loved and respected enough to marry....but if not, me on my own is still QUITE the penthouse, I'm still considering it a life WELL lived.
