That happened to my mother not only was she working but she was taking care of us and even doing stuff that my dad was supposed to be doing. My dad was a pampered housewife and had the audacity to beat his chest and say that i am the man with his african inflated ego.

I really dont know how my mom never divorced him. I am never going to let a man guilt me that for not being a perfect housewife if i am working outside the home just as much he is. You pitch in around the house or you get dropped.

there's nothing with a man helping out with dishes or helping out with the little ones. I did all of that. But today's women dont have their priorities straight. They would rather go shopping than cleaning the house. I always say two ways you can tell if your house is clean. 1) if someone knocks and needs to use the restroom or any reason? do you let them in or say hold on just a second over and over? 2) Can you take a pic and put it on fb or instagram right away or do you have to stop and clean first. It's a shame when the only time you wanna clean is when you wanna take pictures.

No, not at all. That part is sad....I think a lot of women base what they think they want from a man upon movies, what friends and fam swear they deserve and society's ideas about romance. Men follow instinct. Which is why after 3 years when you need to simplify your girl to other men on the Internet is sex and food...

The reality is now that we have our own money we don't need you we can choose you....and that makes insecure men uncomfortable because they have to prove their leadership and desirability now when in reality you just want bytches to show up and get naked. ...and of course cook after... not realizing many were doing that because women were at one point limited in society as to how they could support themselves. Marriage was the equivalent of a job. Yall nikkas mad we found better companies that are less controlling with better benefits no fukking required!

Didnt want to work for "the man" and didnt care that his family would starve. My mom would plead him to find a job like anything to help financially....they would argue about it nonstop. Thought it was beneath him...my mom was raised well off but she humbled herself when she came ro north america doing jobs she never did back home because her focus was to keep a family together.

Selfishness in a relationship or marriage is the biggest reason why people divorce today.

My mom is a good woman she just married too young and to the wrong person but thats life.

There might be a girl who can cook, clean and has a great personality BUT she is visibly overweight with a belly and a slight double chin who could go to the gym for a few months and come out looking dimed out because she always had tiddies and ass and was always beautiful. There might be that dude who is good looking, smart and college educated but is grinding out making $10 in a warehouse driving a bucket who could be making six figures next year. But no, in America, everything has to be perfect or we don't even want it, just like ordering food at a restaurant.
