Most of what DLH said was factual but this is all types of hypocritical bullshyt...

1) Anyone who watched Mayweather/DLH had Floyd winning that fight comfortably except for one judge, DLH family and Pactards...It's true DLH wasn't in his prime but he was far from done and how you gon talk shyt about Floyd making demands when you demanded Floyd who had his last fight weighing in at 145 fight you 154 :stopitslime:...Hows that not an advantage ya fukking crackhead diva hypocrite?

2) Floyd never promised to go blow for blow with Pacquiao, he never promised a KO...It was Pacquiao and Roach who did all the talking promising to bring the action and a KO...They got outboxed and failed miserably to deliver on their promises and its Floyd fault for not getting KO'd? :what:...Floyd fought like everyone who follows this sport expected him to...In fact DLH did more talking about how competitive this fight would be on HBO and ESPN than Floyd did...He is more guilty of misleading public expectations than Floyd is...but nah lets blame Floyd for doing what he does and winning comfortably...

De La Hoya was the champion and Floyd moved up to his weight to fight him

nothing more to discuss

jeff shouldn't be talking at all....oscar ko'ed him as a pro

He said Oscar is a great fighter and was good for boxing

he just calling out the bullshyt he said about Floyd, saying he's bad for boxing

yet Floyd still dominates boxing news

this anti floyd shyt does nothing but hurt the sport

Floyd retired yet people can't keep his name out of their mouths, floyd threads still dominate this board

interviewers still rehash the same goddamn floyd shyt

oh he dances, classic fights etc, all this bullshyt that has zero to do with reality

floyd is the most dominate athlete in any sport EVER

give the man his do

Same way Floyd insisted Marquez move up in weight to fight him.

And Floyd didn't bother making weight.
Not that it would have mattered.
But I'm just sayin.

:sas2:

Marquez wanted to fight Floyd and ranked number 2 p4p
what does that have to do with anything, he spanked marquez

Oscar was the champion, he was the best in the division at the time he had the belt

HE ELSE WAS HE SUPPOSE TO FIGHT, it was the biggest fight of his career

I'm speaking on the notion that Floyd somehow cherry picked Oscar becasue he was past his prime

Oscar had the goddamn belt for crying out loud

your comment about marquez makes no sense, marquez is a HOF not cherry picked

the same marquez took pac to the brink and then knocked him out in the next fight

so I'm guessing the weight wasn't a problem then

yall are pitiful

Alright.

But you can be champ and still be past your prime, wouldn't you agree?

BTW,

I think I read someone say that Floyd went from 140 to 154 to fight De La Hoya...I don't feel like scrolling back but to be clear...

Floyd's previous 3 fights before DLH were:

Sharmba Mitchell at 147
Zab Judah at 146
Carlos Baldomir at 146
then De La Hoya at 150

It's not like he was killing himself to gain weight.

Based on what though he took a lost to bernard hopkins at middleweight and 4 years earlier a SD loss to shane who he couldn't beat the first time anyway
there was no sign Oscar was shot, he was 34 years old, people said Floyd was too small, Floyd was 30 years old when he fought Oscar, he wasn't 22 or some shyt

all this prime shyt is subjective, nobody thought Oscar was based it, he was the champion

Floyd was 36 years old when he fought Cotto, but gets no credit for beating him when all these other fighters primes always end so quick when it comes to Floyd, that was 3 years ago, Cotto is 35 now, not even in the same age Floyd was when they fought, yet Cotto is past his prime, why even put the Canelo fight on ppv
when canelo beats up cotto, I don't want to hear anybody give him props when Cotto hasn't done shyt noteworthy since losing to Austin Trout, other than beat up bums and a one legged Martinez

Oscar was already a champion way before Floyd even turned pro they are from two different eras, but Oscar was not looking passed it

Ali was looking shot for many fights when he was still champion even losing to Leon Spinks before getting the belt back to just to get fukked up Holmes

it's a clear difference

Revisionist history shows a clear agenda against mayweather when he was doubted in all these fights

he was doubted against Judah doubted agaisnt Baldimir, Doubted against Oscar, doubted against Hatton, doubted against Shane, and doubted against Pacquiao

the outcomes were all the same

lighting can't strike twice let alone 6 times, ignoring documented facts shows a clear agenda and level of bytch assness that does not belong in a sport like boxing at all

Just out of curiosity (because I don't quite remember the division that well) here are some of the notable welterweights/middleweights from 2004-2007:

(based off Ring Magazine rankings)

Antonio Margarito
Sugar Shane Mosley
Cory Spinks
Paul Williams
Verno Phillips
Miguel Cotto
Winky Wright
Fernando Vargas
Vernon Forrest

TO BE CLEAR...I am NOT saying Floyd should have, or could have fought all those guys.
Some were clearly on their way to much heavier divisions. And who's to say Floyd wouldn't have beaten them all anyway?

What I am saying is that from 2004 to 2007...every one of those men fought in the Welterweight to Middleweight divisions.

For Floyd to have only fought one of them (Cotto, in 2012) is a legit criticism given his claim to be "TBE"

I don't think Floyd beat DLH in that fight.
And while I'm at it...I don't think DLH ever beat Ike Quartey. But I might need to re-watch that one.
