But you don't think even boxing purists and historians would have liked to see him do more, face other fighters. I could give a fukk about him being undefeated really. That feat alone is a phenomenal feather in anybodys cap though, I won't front. But just like you said, any level headed boxing fan knows a loss wouldn't diminish Floyd greatness much, if at all. He gotta be marketed different, that's all.an undefeated record panning 19 years while beating 23 world champions, 7 hall of famers without ever being knocked down and showing complete domination for damn near every fight with the GOAT defense means something breh
floyd will be remembered for that by any level headed boxing fan who can put him emotions to the side and recognize greatness
get that hate out your heart breh
Best believe that zero is definitely a marketing tool at this point, not a measuring stick. I mean he fought Berto for his last fight lol.
I'm definitely not mad or hating, dude is a master at his craft, that's what I'll remember him for. Timing, movement, defense, all off the charts.
Jeffs idea that we'll remember Floyd for his undefeated record is kind of a knock on Floyd if you really think about. But then again, TMT prefers to tout numbers, the only things that can't be argued (eg win record, Ppv sales, most money generated, etc.)
