Breh, your hating has been going crazy lately. I have been trying to give you leads into conversations here because you clearly know something about boxing and have connections into boxing that most here don't have. You could be posting really insightful stuff that benefits us all.

To clarify, let me break it down: I'm not comparing GGG because I don't think Floyd and him are in the same league. GGG is the best fighter currently at 160, but the competition is historically not very good and we are a long ways from even determining GGG's legacy. Even with that, GGG will never accomplish what Floyd has. I may not be a Mayweather stan and disagree with how he handles himself outside the ring, but I always give dude his respect in the ring. He is the best fighter of the last 15 years and will go down as an ATG. I have never contradicted that. When we talk about ATG, I mean other ATG fighters (Ali, SRR, SRL, Hagler, etc.), that is whose legacy Floyd's is compared against. He is past comparing this current generation. Floyd is the best of this current generation. Floyd is now at the point of deservedly having comparisons to all time great fighters.
My entire point is that it is entirely possible that Floyd's legacy may find faults in opponents, not how he fought, since he was virtually flawless in the ring. @krackdagawd point is entirely valid and very possible that time makes Mayweather look better and questions about who he fought and when he fought them starts to fade and historically we revere in Floyd's accomplishments. I can buy that. He had a great point regarding SRL. All I am doing is pointing out that if we are to point out one flaw in Floyd's career (an ATG one at that) then that is where I assume most people would look. It seems to be where the criticism comes from now...20 years from now, I don't know how it will be viewed (the same, differently).

Canelo Alvarez wasn't that known by the Casuals before he fought Floyd....which is why he never headlined a PPV until he fought Floyd....but yet did 2.2 million buys with him, which was higher than Floyd did with more known fighters at the time such as Hatton, Judah, Gatti, Marquez, Mosley, Cotto.
Unless yall are willing to give my nikka Canelo our props for selling those PPVs for Floyd (who without Pac, DLH, and Canelo...has NEVER come close to touching those type of numbers), and allowing me to put those numbers on the #CaneloCartel resume when I get to flexing on other fighters, I don't wanna hear it for Floyd then.
