It would be. But you don't feel like Cotto is reinvigorated?
I can't lie I wouldn't mind a mayweather/cotto rematch
Cotto had floyd thinking about retiring back then
It would be. But you don't feel like Cotto is reinvigorated?
u be hating on hagler all the time.
but for real i never see u mention him until srl comes up.
They are 6 years apart.
okay so it was mosley ducking the young mayweather who was looking for a shot, when mosley was on top and mayweather was trying to build a name
and also you can easily search the internet all boxing articles were talking about shane would mayweather's real test at welterweight, etc
they said mayweather was ducking mosley, and he had to interrupt his press conference, et
so if there 6 years apart when was mayweather exactly suppose to fight "prime shane"
When he beat De La Hoya in 2000 for the welterweight belt, mayweather was at super feather weight
when he fought Winky in 2004 at 154, mayweather hadn't even fought Gatti at 140 yet
nikka when it comes to arguments in the ring no one says shyt but me.
u a hagler stan?
I have brought up fighters that I think Floyd could've fought in their prime.....Mosley isn't one of em. I agree with YOU, Mosley ducked Floyd, not the other way around.
Floyd was chasing him.
breh stop. im the only hagler stan on here.
I swear me and you were in the Leonard/Hagler thread being best friends.
Hes right. First time I heard of Floyd is when he fought Oscar
for the honesty
Same for most a lot of posters posting in this thread...........but let them tell it, they were around watching when Floyd was getting booed by the crowd against Sosa
hagler really did beat leonard
ill keep it 1000, my first floyd fight i saw and found out who he was when i happened to randomley go to a barbque and they had that fight playingWait a cotdamn minute... you didn't know who he was when he fought Tony Pep?
fukk is wrong with you nikkas?
And this has never been my argument. I'm not one of those "He shoulda fought such and such five years ago" nikkas. He beat who he was supposed to beat and they were all great fighters for the most part.
What I'm having a problem with is nikkas tryna rewrite history. The best thing he did for himself was declaring himself a free agent, but in the midst of that it was who he fought after announcing it that made him who he is. Truth of the matter is no one knows who started what. But what is known is there's been a love-hate relationship between these two. They made each other a lot of money but can't stand the site of one another.
