this story is pretty interesting. the rock thought he was going to lead the DC universe making 50+ mill a movie plus royalties and give his 7 buck production credit only for WB and james gunn to dead that.

He really needed to get a different character if he wanted to pull this off.

Cats like the MCU formula with the sidekick black characters and no real shakeups. They don't even have an R rated film, while DC ain't afraid of going there.
