isn't the movie called "Birds of Prey AND......Harley Quinn"
The movie's title is basically Birds Of Prey & Harley Quinn but with a longer title.
Harley isn't in the BOP so why would it be Harley Quinn: Birds Of Prey?

They could have named the shyt Harley Quinn Twice and it still would not have made any bank. She is a supporting character might as well make Robin the movie next
they fukked up with title should have called this shyt Harley Quinn: Gotham city stories from the jump don't nobody care about the Birds Of Prey like that but hardcore comic nerds
fukked up the movie conception by not having the Joker in it at all "Letoker" just needed to be in the first 15 minutes movie for the break up and possible return they also needed a member of the bat family in this as a third party Red hood would have worked just fine in this type of movie would have created more male interest in seeing this

I'm bias as hell. Birds of Prey stayed in my pull list in the late 2000's. I have the entire Gail Simone run. It's the only complete run I have for any comic. Well that and Impulse. You can't have a Birds of Prey with out Barbara Gordon

They're not popular on their own, but we've had a lot of comic book premises that weren't popular become big things on the big screen. I think a Harley Quinn movie CALLED Harley Quinn from jump coulda worked. She's always been pretty popular. But this confused amalgamation of names was weird. Also, I think the movie might be paying for the sins of Suicide Squad. SS did crazy numbers, but was decidedly a joke in perception after the smoke cleared. This is a spin-off with a funky ass title. Shame. I hear its not a bad movie.

I still don't think the name change would've done anything since Harley's face was all over the marketing and trailers.
The casual person probably doesn't know Logan, but Wolverine's/Jackman's face and his claws let everyone know who the movie was about.
