Me and my girl moving in together next week and are living around the Potomac Yard area and we didn't even touch looking at DC and some parts of PG that's near a metro because of the fcckery going on. Only good areas in PG that's near a metro station and is good is Landover and Hyattsville.

nah there's more to PG than Landover and Hyattsville. check out Largo and Morgan Blvd and Greenbelt also. Outside the Beltway in PG are the best black suburbs in the nationa. And Ward 7 in DC has safe black neighborhoods. Wards 4,5 and 6 also have good areas but they are expensive.

I think the public has an interest. This same kid from the OP could easily have siblings who are still in that obviously fukked up home and getting ready to do worse than their brother. Maybe you find out who taught him this behavior. Maybe you catch someone who was abusing him and that’s why he couldn’t sleep in his house at night.

And it’s a solution The Coli could get behind. Just think of all the single moms finally getting their comeuppance or having to date nerds to pay their debt to society.

Children aren’t capable of this level of long term strategic thinking. They don’t have fully developed brains.

Which is why they have guardians, can’t enter into contracts, can’t vote or fight in the army and have teachers assigned to babysit them when they’re parents aren’t around.

What is your expectation of what happens once a teen commits a felony and is met with a slap on the wrist? Do you think they’ll develop into an upstanding citizen after an experience like that?

I have a Cousin is so dysfunctional, that her 13 year old daughter tried to kill herself. Mind you, I damn near grew up with that cousin and know her daughter, so that actually hits close to home.

There are some things out of our control and there are some things in our control.

It's a cultural issue and until we accept that fact, black people will never make it anywhere in life as a group.

I worked in insurance and if someone steals your car and aren’t caught or your car is damaged or totaled you are taking an unfathomably massive L. You are going to eat most of it. Especially the rental car which most people only have 20-30 dollars a day coverage. Enterprise is charging 40-50 for a family sized car. A month of repairs or waiting for the total loss to be sorted, paying $30 a day, plus your deductible which is 500-1000, premium increases and having to buy a new whip for 20k when insurance is only gonna front you 15k. Sheesh.
