I'm saying, when you put competing spidermans on the same screen people gonna have their favorites, which is why its dumb to have multiple universes with the same character running at the same time.

Lets say you have two diffrent actors playing batman in diffrent universes and releasing their movies in the same year. The box office for those movies are gonna look totally diffrent....One always gonna shine brighter then the other.

Yes bragging. You were posting the news as a way of showing that DC is doing well. That's the definition of bragging. These characters all exist in that universe and some of them showed up in Peacemaker, confirming that the universe is continuing. They may not have a storyline in mind but they plan to continue the universe and throw in connections where they can. If they think it's profitable they will revive the connected storyline in the future.

Now I highly doubt WB would put out 2 different Batman movies at the same time but the door is open for it to happen based on the stated goal they have and the way they have been handling production ever since Hamada took over.

They should have just gotten Dini and Timm to be in charge of the cinematic universe. Now I did hear that there was something about union rules for TV vs movies that prevented it but I've never heard that confirmed.

As it stands now, DC is still in a mess. Since there are remnants of the Snyderverse that are successful, like Peacemaker, WW, Aquaman, Shazam (to a lesser extent) they will continue to drag it out in a weird way unless Flash resets everything. Black Adam will also be set in that world.

If not, they are forced to continue these properties that have some ties to the Snyderverse for the indefinite future. Unless they do a hard stop after this next round of movies. Doing that and rebooting from scratch would be the best option. I'd say by 2024 they should just do a clean slate.

They want to cont. a narrative that doesn't exist. Don't wanna spoil Peace but that ending of the season 1 was a GAG by James Gunn... it wasn't meant to setup anything.. only a simpleton would believe that was a "continuation" of the Snyderverse

Because the casting and universe that these movies are set in are derived from Snyder. To truly get rid of it they would have to reboot with a new set of actors, with a completely new vision. That is a tough prospect because they screwed this up from the start so it's like this weird "we're moving on from the Snyderverse but not really because it's the same actors and universe from the Snyderverse" thing.
