People really hyped for James Gunns weirdo “humor” to infuse itself across the DC universe? It needed a reboot but a full one not this piecemeal shyt. And either have a DCU or don’t. These multiple Batman’s and the like is dumb as hell.

I’d prefer if they kept all their characters separate and focused on their own stories. No limitations that way.

Yeah that’s my preference but if they are going to do a DCU then they should go all in.

I’m going to be real though I don’t like Gunn movies. All his hype seems to be based off GOTG and 80’s references. Part 2 was mid and suicide squad was an abomination.

Dwayne didn't even bother to try to look like black Adam. Where are the funny looking ears? He couldn't bother to grow his hair out for this? Even the suit is not black like it's supposed to be it's more green than anything. I mean he had 15 years to prepare for this and He essentially just showed up as the rock in a black Adam movie

Didnt even attempt a Khandaqi accent or nothing didnt even have to be a stereotypically Middle Eastern accent just talk formal, showed up sounding like Vince sabotaged his shot at the belt sounding modern as fukk when hes supposedly a 5,000 year old demigod

Seems the Rock is not done as Black Adam. When we see his Black Adam in Gunn's universe and if he will still want to play him when he gets used is another question.

The Rock is gonna be running around a parking lot in a Black Adam costume at this point.

Gunn's Suicide Squad and Peacemaker were both dope.

I do think Harley is a miss. By design the character is supposed to be over-the-top but it just doesn't slap. The blue-haired girl from the Arcane show would've been a better blueprint for Harley. Still bat shyt crazy but a far stronger emotional hook and focus with the trauma.

Yea but two hours of the rock doing a meh accent (cause no way couod he keep that up for the whole film) would get old fast.

I never really have an issue if someone doesnt have an accent in these flicks cause its not like the rock is that great of an actor. His dedication is to being as jacked as possible to be a physically imposing superhero, his focus is not on the acting

...And that's the thing that kills me is that he CAN do dramatic roles when he wants to... but he's out for the check now. not authenticity...
