Seems the Rock is not done as Black Adam. When we see his Black Adam in Gunn's universe and if he will still want to play him when he gets used is another question.

i'm not worried about Gunn handling Superman. The character calls for space opera/fantastical elements and some comedy here and there at the newspaper and Gunn usually excels at both..

But these character flaws don't have anything to do with Superman though. Half of that shyt is something Batman would do or one of the many Superman-but-evil comic clones that exist. Its a post-modern projection of the worst of Humanity; if you give someone power, said person will struggle to do good. But was designed to be the exception. He's not Batman...when someone with Batman's brutally, gets that kind of power in DC ppl die. In some cases universes die.
Clark Kent is an mid-west farm cac, who's borderline idealistic about people but isn't a dikk about it. Not relatable enough? Give him an onlyfans sub. This covers at least 60% of the audience.
What Snyder was trying to do with Superman was interesting.
Snyder was actually able to balance the fantastical elements in terms of superman's powers with the "how would the world realistically react to Superman" approach
The problem was two things.
1. Making Cavill's Superman too miserable along with removing the actor's charisma.
2. Pushing the Nolan Superman concept into a shared universe.
Man of Steel should have been a standalone franchise like it was initially envisioned to be.
I mean what the hell was a scene like this
doing in a "vs" flick that's part of a shared universe
You can tell that scene was probably written up before Batman and "dceu" was shoehorned into the movie/franchise
I thought Mamoa was on the rise after Game of Thrones...if he picks good roles.
People..particular women like seeing him in those brooding kickass type roles.

People really hyped for James Gunns weirdo “humor” to infuse itself across the DC universe? It needed a reboot but a full one not this piecemeal shyt. And either have a DCU or don’t. These multiple Batman’s and the like is dumb as hell.
I’d prefer if they kept all their characters separate and focused on their own stories. No limitations that way.

Dwayne didn't even bother to try to look like black Adam. Where are the funny looking ears? He couldn't bother to grow his hair out for this? Even the suit is not black like it's supposed to be it's more green than anything. I mean he had 15 years to prepare for this and He essentially just showed up as the rock in a black Adam movie
