It's hard to say why Superman is so compelling. It took an army of writers several decades to come up with Classic Superman..

Like, Batman/Superman TAS / Justice League/Unlimited version.

I don't think one writer could have just come up with that. It's kinda weird and bland in ways. But whatever the mixture is, it is very very popular.

Why, then do they KEEP FUKCING WITH IT?

Just deliver the "real" Superman. Use the thing that has been wildly popular with comic fans and society in general for damn near a century.

Having seen a few panels of this particular comic, I came to the conclusion that it was less him being a “Bi” Superman (I say that in quotations because all they had him do was chase ass ) and more them not knowing a goddamn thing about nuance in writing.

Literally everything was heavy handed and done for the sake of just doing it.
