Pretty sure Vince didn't like them because they was prone to being injured as soon as they got called up and being pushed. Which not only created issues for the tag division, but when you have a one dimension tag team act with one guy is injured... It's annoying money pit. Vince probably grew tired of them more than anything.

We all know tag team wrestling isn't a big thing in the E and now Vince is back. They didn't have a good run the first time and we hear/read Cokeboy didn't give a fukk about them, It's not hard to see the writing on the wall on how things might go.
They have a better chance to shine more outside of the machinE where tag team wrestling is more appreciated. Simple as that.

FTR is a great tag team that came up in the wrong era….
Dax has taken it to another level in the past year to a point he could be a singles star. His promos ain’t great but they’re not bad either. Cash Wheeler is a very good wrestler but i don’t see him having much success outside of FTR.
I don’t think they care a lot about the money. They’re more passionate about putting on critically acclaimed matches just for wrestling purists without having to sacrifice they’re integrity and become jokes in the WWE.
FTR would’ve been solidified with a winners take all match with The Bucks for all the gold and beat them but it ain’t happened. They been booked so inconsistent in AEW.
I do agree that they need to revise they’re gimmicks (not turn into anything silly like Vince did) but something that makes them more interesting other than just a throwback 80’s tag team.

why is it so hard to believe that FTR wanted to go places where they could actually wrestle wrestle...? They loved NXT.. they hated RAW... then they slowly started to hate AEW until they got involved with AAA/NJPW and had that ROH series with the Briscoes
