for me, it really boils down to what this shyt is. Performance art. A traveling circus/tv show. I look at dudes on the Indy scene as performers looking to build their statuses and leverage that into more money. Nobody is working for free. You don’t have to be in WWE to make that money, but again.. making a living to perform is still the goal I’d assume. Sasha didn’t just show up in New Japan at a discounted price. She got a bag.

It’s fair to say what ya’ll consider a legacy, I was viewing through a marketing/branding lens. It’s just how I’m wired. I don’t see wrestling as this prestigious thing, it’s just performance/ niche entertainment that I fukk with heavily.
